Stenciled Day One Card 1

I'm very excited to be taking Stenciled from Online Card Classes. I admire Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner so much and always watch their videos and basically decided what better way to show my appreciation than to support them by buying a class. I know you can find a lot of information on You Tube about different products and techniques but this class offers a curated look at stencil techniques which means every video is clear and presents a new technique. Anyway I wanted to share some of my projects based off of Day One. I had a few stencils when I started the class. I got a couple at the Ranger Warehouse Sale. (Stencils in a price by pound format were a no-brainer even if I didn't know how to use them.) I also picked up a few specifically after signing up including the Heidi Swapp Polka Confetti and The Crafter's Workshop Aspen Trees.

This first card feature layering stencils together. I used Milled Lavender Distress Ink to make a background with a stencil and then layered the love sentiment on top in Seedless Preserves Distress Ink. I added some stamps from Lawn Fawn to finish it off.
